Battlefield 2042 : Minimum and recommended system requirements

Dice has just announced its new Battlefield game, and what we can say is that it is beautiful! It will probably require a powerful PC
After many months of anticipation, the next installment in the Battlefield saga has been officially revealed by EA DICE and will be titled "Battlefield 2042" and, as its name suggests, this first-person shooter game will take place in a futuristic world, in the midst of failing nations and fierce war between the remaining superpowers.
The game is scheduled for release on October 22 and will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC via Origin, Steam and Epic Games Store.
Until then, be sure to check your system configuration to ensure you an optimal gaming experience.
To find out if your computer has the necessary requirements, take a look at the « minimum requirements » listed below : this is the configuration that will enable you to run the game but not in its full potential in terms of performance and graphics. To fully enjoy the game, check the « recommended requirements » instead.
System Requirements (Minimum) :
CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K/3.3GHz or AMD FX 6300/3.5GHz
RAM: 8 GB
OS: Windows 10 64-bits
VIDEO CARD: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 (3 GB) or AMD Radeon R9 290 (4GB)
FREE DISK SPACE: 100 GB
Recommended Requirements :
CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K/3.5GHz or Ryzen 5 1500X/3.5GHz
RAM: 16 GB
OS: Windows 10 64-bits
VIDEO CARD: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD RX 5700
FREE DISK SPACE: 100 GB
As you can see, the system requirements don't seem excessively demanding. This is because the game is designed for newer but also old generation consoles such as PS4 and XBOX one.
However, out of them all, we advise you to especially respect the RAM requirements, since Battlefield is a PVP dynamic shooting game that may expose you to heavy slowdowns otherwise.
